As of May 2, 2022, you can access your pre-filled tax return through an authenticated area on the website of the Italian Revenue Agency. To do so, you'll need to use your SPID, CIE, or CNS credentials. Here's what you need to know.
SPID: Italian Public Digital Identity System
SPID is the Italian Public Digital Identity System. It allows you to access various online services, including the pre-filled tax return, using a single set of credentials. You can obtain your SPID credentials from a certified identity provider.
CIE: Electronic Identity Card
CIE is the new Italian electronic identity card. It contains a digital certificate that you can use to access online services. You can request your CIE from your local registry office.
CNS: National Health Service Card
CNS is the National Health Service Card. It also contains a digital certificate that you can use to access online services. You can request your CNS from your local health authority.
